Gynaecology Posting Experience! |Indian MedSchool Story✨|

Blog19 After 2 months Hiatus,writing this blog because This was a completely new experience. Okay, so this post is all about the place where you would hear the loudest of the cries and Blood spilt like water.Yes, That's true, its about the Labour Room. I was posted in The Gynaecology department from  12th July to 5th August 2022. The duration of the posting was of 3 weeks and It was HECTIC . From learning how to talk to patient to actually seeing a placenta delivery in front of my eyes! In 2nd year You should be aware of how to take history of the patient properly.  Got to see a lot of new borns .They were so tiny(and loud) I remember when we had a class in the casualty and Sir told us to do the Per-Vaginal Examination. That moment I was shit scared. Glad,Sir upon seeing the expressions dropped that idea😂 This posting was so EVENTFUL 😂👏 In my ward leaving exam today, I was assigned a case of female who was going through leaking per vaginum. My 1st year MBBS result is out! |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog18 Hello to amazing humans out there, who genuinely love checking out my blog even when I don't post regularly. So a big major update, I have finally passed my 1st year! Imagine finally waving a goodbye(not really) to Anatomy books. Finally Making new space for another round of subjects  *okay a lil bit of background story* I was so much apprehensive everyday before my result came because of the little anxious flashbacks that came about what I actually wrote in my examination sheets!🗑️ Anatomy exam went so much of a toss but ,Can you believe ?I scored 200 out of 300 in that! Can't believe I actually don't have to encounter my Anatomy professors who aced the art of making nonsense comments about me. first year was indeed hard and so much I had to bear last year. Talking about the percentage, I scored 69.4% in my proff. Consider it as 70.0% okay!😂😂 That joy doesn't seem to go away really. The moment I remember  the mental breakdown I had on my Biochemis...

First Day of 2nd year! Attended First Clinical Posting- Paediatrics! |Indian MedSchool Story✨|

Blog 17 21st March 2022 Okay, First of all,I finally entered into Sophomore Year! Can't wait to share my experience with you people. My day started at 7 luckily I don't have to do much effort for Rickshaw Hunt today🤣 Reached college around 8. First lecture was of Pathology taken by HOD. Ma'am briefed us about Parts and various aspects of Pathology.Kinda scared but will try not to make Histo-Pathology a nightmare🙂 The lecture was sweet though. Sat With my friends that too in 2nd row🤣  Wow,That's enough motivation to start off new session. Next lecture was of Microbiology taken by HOD Ma'am. She was so sweet. She gave introduction to the subject. Next came" The first ever Clinical Postings!" I was posted to the Paediatrics Ward. The Constant Confusion of, Exams getting postponed or not? |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog11 Life Update Another Day ,Another hope that rising covid cases may lead to exams getting postponed! I started giving my all for Studies right from 1st day of 2022. To finish up the whole syllabus of Anatomy is really no joke😂 I remember last night  I was memorising the branches of Internal Thoracic Artery via the mnemonic I made. The mnemonic was(Crappy enough) "Mummy Mere liye 2 anti peri peri Samose" As shitty this mnemonic seems 😂😂  When I was memorising the branches I got zoned out after reading Samose😂😂 Another incident was When I was memorising Branches of Internal Iliac Artery I studied like minutes ago,but i wasn't able to recall all. I legit started crying why Can't I remember all of the things I put heed to! Then I talked to my friend over call and told him about what happened Then at the same moment, I got the message from my friend "Seniors ke exam postpone ho gaye!" Hello everyone, this is my first ever blog and first attempt at blogging too🤣 So this blog is about what this journey of my blogging be about!Journey of being A Medical Student in India. I am first year MBBS student from Dr.BSA Medical College, Delhi. I started my journey as a Medical student from 2nd Feb2021. My first day at medical college was a good day.I still remember I was 40mins late for my very first class that was of Physiology. I entered the class, and the Auditorium looked so royal🤣 I entered the class, though I was late,the professor didn't say anything.I wished him,"Good Morning Sir" in a hurry and sat in 3rd row in Left most group.All my classmates looked at me in awe,because of the way I was dressed up.
