4th Dec2021
The day when, are so called,"Covid-struck/ruined ever-so-fine 2020 Batch with No Freshers and White coat ceremony" finally ended!
Our college started on 2nd Feb2021 and the freshmen year ended today that is 4th Dec2021✨
Though we just went to college for the offline classes for about 5months . The experiences I received are on another level💥.It was indeed a feeling of mixed emotion ,to put forth ,what actually Freshmen year to me was!
Some noteworthy experiences/learnings:
🌟 Getting to see, dissect a real human body! I will never forget my first dissection hall experience to be honest💥
You can check that out on my blog.
🌟 Extracting and performing "bloody practicals" for Physiology ofcourse. Well, Hematology practicals were fun,I must say(My exams are in this month and I have forgotten every practical, not crying😢)
🌟 Experimenting on Urine in those neglected or Study-one-day-before for exam subject, that is Biochemistry! The best part was to tell my friend Usha to perform practicals and then take readings from her🤣
🌟 To make new friends from different backgrounds and listening to their Ideology of what being a medico to them signifies! if you have one good friend in Med School, believe me, You have received gem!🌟
🌟 Stress!!! By god, the level of panic attacks I have encountered when I analyse the syllabus is on another level💀
🌟 Failing in Exams! Yes, I failed in Anatomy in my first Part-completion test.I was shocked,That day I realised How important it is to take Anatomy seriously🤣
🌟 Giving response to professors! Okay, My friend Usha and I are infamous of the fact that we never respond whenever professor asks a question, And to that surprise, We received one huge insult when Anatomy tutor told us to "Tell about the boundaries of Pelvic Inlet" 🤣🤣 That day,That insult I will never forget! one gem memory maybe🤣🤣
🌟 How important your Seniors are to you! Yes, Seniors are important in Medical. They help you with the content you need to study. They guide you.
🌟 Histology and Embryology to be studied on a regular basis!😢
🌟 Hobbies! Well, Hobbies are something that actually helps you in relieving your stress. In lockdown, I focussed on improving on my painting skills and it was indeed one of the best decisions I took!
🌟 Ranting a lot about syllabus and saying to my friends,"ye dukh kaahe khatam nai hota?"
My friend Akansha rants a lot about why Mukesh Ambani is not recognising her potential and donating her 20crore, for her to drop out of Med School🤣🤣
🌟 To learn to keep your energy reserved. Sometimes you will go through experiences in MBBS that will be hard for you. Those experiences might break your self esteem to the core, but It is important for you to get back and just ignore them for a while and learn what thing is good for you and what is not!
🌟 Choosing friends wisely! Umm.... Medicos as friends Aren't always trustworthy but it is important to be close with the people with whom your vibe matches!
🌟 Fun, Well Fun was something that I didn't get to experience much in freshmen year. One notable experience I would like to put forth.A month back, My friends and I went to hostel of our college and We explored a children's park nearby. We had so much fun that day!! That day,I got to explore the childish side of my friends. That day I will never forget!🌟✨
🌟 Attendence is one big thing you need to maintain in College!
🌟 How boring it may be, Never miss out on PSM!
MBBS surely is grinding and for a girl like me, who usually don't socialise well was hard. My freshmen year wasn't something best I should say, but the level1 of 5.5year journey did helped me in gaining composure for the upcoming levels to MBBS!
A Good Doctor is a lifelong learner!✨🌟✨🌟 That My freshmen year did teach me, to never stop learning!
Also,My sentups or pre-proffs exams are starting after a week and Proffs are after a month. Wish me Luck!😢🤣
