Blog19 After 2 months Hiatus, writing this blog because This was a completely new experience. Okay, so this post is all about the place where you would hear the loudest of the cries and Blood spilt like water.Yes, That's true, its about the Labour Room. I was posted in The Gynaecology department from  12th July to 5th August 2022. The duration of the posting was of 3 weeks and It was HECTIC . From learning how to talk to patient to actually seeing a placenta delivery in front of my eyes! In 2nd year You should be aware of how to take history of the patient properly.  Got to see a lot of new borns .They were so tiny(and loud) I remember when we had a class in the casualty and Sir told us to do the Per-Vaginal Examination. That moment I was shit scared. Glad,Sir upon seeing the expressions dropped that idea😂 This posting was so EVENTFUL 😂👏 In my ward leaving exam today, I was assigned a case of female who was going through leaking per vaginum. She was cooperative ...

First year ends! Practical Exam Edition |Indian MedSchool Story|

I had my proffs done recently and the level of Calm i finally received that I do not have to face Anatomy( goodness gracious If I not end up reappearing🕉)
So Physiology Viva was tricky and I was late(as usual)
I had my spotting and helped all of my other batchmates😇 Then came the Hematology practicals or "Khooni practicals" I was assigned Differential Leucocyte Count😭
I never performed that in my life, but this time I had to! Lab Staff helped me in the preparation but the slide wasn't even prepared😭
Then I manipulated the readings because I don't want to get any scolding from the HOD or external. I felt happy that External came to take my viva and when she saw my slide she instead of shouting at me, said "It's okay, nevermind".My readings were not in the way It was supposed to be written😭
I don't know what will happen now!
Coming to the next viva, was of Amphibian Graph and Charts, It went good. Then came Cranial nerve examination, It went pretty good too. Next came the practical of Human Lab😭 I was alloted ECG😭
Again, It was the first time I was assigned ECG. Luckily College staff got me the ECG of one patient from hospital. My college staff told me that ECG machine had been broken and can't be made to use😂 So I didn't had to perform that, I was so happy😂
This time I got perfect readings😂 And viva went good too.
Bhagwaan ji please pass kra dena

My biochemistry practical was good though I didn't get any correct reading for the quantitative test🐼
Another batchmate who got the same reading got me his solution😂
Coming to the viva, The viva was taken by my HOD biochem. She upon seeing my Workstation being this messy🐸. She commented,"beta ghr m rasoi m khana banate time slab hi saaf krlia kro" She then taunted me,"Ki tum vahi ho na jiska Thyroid mene check krwaya tha😂"
I with my head shook down," Yes ma'am"
She turning my head onto her side," Khaaya peeya karo!"
She then asked me questions which I mumbled though answer were Incorrect 😂
She then taunted,"Kuchh bhi nai bolna hota viva m!"
She then asked easy questions and I answered them perfectly.
And then she waved off.
Overall Biochemistry was hectic because of The test I had to perform.I couldn't get the reading and the labstaff was kinda not supportive today.
Still I know I'd get a pretty much good score.
Lest I have Anatomy and I can't wait to jumble and mumble rubbish tomorrow😂😂
16th March 2022
Coming to Last Anatomy Viva
I guess it was the most fun(tormenting) one
I had my Spotting and OSPE first, I could identify all the slides but I couldn't answer all the question beside that as well. Next was the viva of Soft parts or Gross Anatomy Excluding Osteology or Bones, I was called I had my heart pounding too much because again Anxiety🤣
Ma'am Asked the questions and I couldn't answer all that in one go but I tried, though I could see Ma'am getting furious about me answering incorrect blatantly🤣🤣
Next was the viva of Histology, I took about 30 minutes just to identify what-the-heck I got the slide of. I was literally in so much distress that how will be able to recognise. I attempted then my professor came and told me that first slide is incorrect and give it a try again.
The slides were of Pancreas and Muscular Artery and luckily that I identified them the same💫
Then came Viva, the examiner here was my Anatomy's HOD and she was so frustrated🤣 She was angry though. She asked me the example of Muscular Artery
"Aorta" I replied
I could see her blood boiling🤣🤣
She then gave up and told me to go🤣
The answer was incorrect by the way
Next viva was of Embryology and I performed well(I suppose)
Then came the Surface Anatomy and Radiology Section, The examiner here was so calm and such a beauty
She asked the questions and when I wasn't able to answer one, She gave me so many clues🤣
I mean she was really God sent.
She then told me to perform Supination and Pronation and asked me to name the joint the movement takes place.
"Elbow Joint" I replied
"Tsk!" she expressed
"Wrist joint" I asserted
"Tsk!!" she expressed
Then came the final answer which turned out to be correct🤣
"Radio-Ulnar joint!"
She smiled🤣💫
Can't believe Someone actually showered this much gratitude even in Subjects like Anatomy
Next came the hardest viva and here the examiner actually gave up🤣
This viva was of Osteology or bones
Sir handed me the skull to identify the foramen.
 I replied"Foramen Rotundum"
Sir gave me a angry stern, and said" beta Shape to dekho Foramen ki!"
I was like, Okay Then I inspected the foramen once again
"foramen Ovale" I replied
Sir was like,"Yes, itni der kyu lagi!"
Sir then asked me about the structures passing through the foramen.I answered all of it
Then he handed me the Femur and told me to explain about the lower part of femur🤣
I was so damn confused that Femur lower part has tubercles or trochanters or Malleoli
"Greater trochanter and Lesser Trochanter" I replied
Sir was so much distressed here, he told me to go without asking anything more🤣🤣🤣
I knew Sir was pissed off by the answers I put forth🤣🤣
But It's okay, All I need is to get pass
And In hopes, I don't have to reappear for These exams😇
Okay, So my first year ended now(result awaited though)
Pass hojau bas mai🙂
And I can't wait to be Sophomore year student attending postings and analysing cases✨
