Gynaecology Posting Experience! |Indian MedSchool Story✨|

Blog19 After 2 months Hiatus,writing this blog because This was a completely new experience. Okay, so this post is all about the place where you would hear the loudest of the cries and Blood spilt like water.Yes, That's true, its about the Labour Room. I was posted in The Gynaecology department from  12th July to 5th August 2022. The duration of the posting was of 3 weeks and It was HECTIC . From learning how to talk to patient to actually seeing a placenta delivery in front of my eyes! In 2nd year You should be aware of how to take history of the patient properly.  Got to see a lot of new borns .They were so tiny(and loud) I remember when we had a class in the casualty and Sir told us to do the Per-Vaginal Examination. That moment I was shit scared. Glad,Sir upon seeing the expressions dropped that idea😂 This posting was so EVENTFUL 😂👏 In my ward leaving exam today, I was assigned a case of female who was going through leaking per vaginum. 1st proff Postponed! |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog12 Okay, So first of all "yayyyyyyy!!!!" That feeling of exams getting postponed is another level.Remembering to the stress I had in these days. Crying while memorising Arteries😂😂 So the news was given to me by none-other-than Usha!😂 When i hear about exams getting postponed ,it reminds me of NEET 2020. Now, Exams  have been postponed, I would study with quite less stress. Won't leave Biochemistry to study at last moment. Won't try to completely relax like,not opening books😂 Will study on a regular basis(Hell,Yeah!) All the best to everyone having exams. The Constant Confusion of, Exams getting postponed or not? |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog11 Life Update Another Day ,Another hope that rising covid cases may lead to exams getting postponed! I started giving my all for Studies right from 1st day of 2022. To finish up the whole syllabus of Anatomy is really no joke😂 I remember last night  I was memorising the branches of Internal Thoracic Artery via the mnemonic I made. The mnemonic was(Crappy enough) "Mummy Mere liye 2 anti peri peri Samose" As shitty this mnemonic seems 😂😂  When I was memorising the branches I got zoned out after reading Samose😂😂 Another incident was When I was memorising Branches of Internal Iliac Artery I studied like minutes ago,but i wasn't able to recall all. I legit started crying why Can't I remember all of the things I put heed to! Then I talked to my friend over call and told him about what happened Then at the same moment, I got the message from my friend "Seniors ke exam postpone ho gaye!" Anatomy Practical Exam Experience! |Indian MedSchool Story✨|

Blog10 Okay,  *statutory warning*  To the upcoming medical students, To be prepared for insults you will receive in due course of your MBBS. The beginning starts from ANATOMY! So, my anatomy practical exam gave me the last memory of college for year 2021.Obviously the memory isn't something to brag, but this was one big realisation to start study like hell! My first ever practical Anatomy practical exam was on 23rd Dec2021. The practical comprises of OSPE, then histology Practical and Viva; Embryology Viva and Radiology Viva, Gross anatomy viva, Surface anatomy viva and then Osteology Viva. And lastly you have to go through your Sent-up exam sheets😂  The exam was to begin at 9 and that day I woke up early and reached college early too. The classrooms were locked at that time😌 I sat there in the Cafetaria waiting for the classrooms to open. That day was Shivering cold! Biochemistry Pre-proff practical Exam Experience! |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog 9 Okay, First of all, wishing everyone a very happy last day of 2021(not even a day,writing this post literally one and half hour before 12am😂😂) This post is about my biochemistry practical exam Experience. Biochemistry reminds me of the time I spent in those Labs at Hindu College when I was a Chemistry Major for a year😂.Those memories really was filled with happiness and cheer. The reason why I love Performing those Biochemistry practicals is because It reminds me of Hindu College! Okay,Let's get back to the MBBS story😂 Though, this wasn't our batch's first time to biochemistry practical exam.The "woke" biochemistry faculty did take our practical exams before and This time the experience was fun 😂 The practical involves spotting, then performing OSPE; then one practical was assigned to you and you have to perform that; then followed by Table viva which was based on the practical you were assigned. Physiology Practical Exam Experience! |Indian MedSchool Story|

Blog 8  This blog is in continuation of the previous blog.Make sure to check that out too! So, our practicals started 3 days after our pre-proffs ended.It was our first Experience to take up practical exams and to experience one dreaded full-of-insults and scolding "VIVA".  I guess every science student I meet who happen to knew that I am pursuing MBBS ends up asking " or bta kitne beijjati hui Viva me?"😆🤣🤣 Literally, Viva(s) in medical college is on another level of you to experience how your  professors can turn their back on you🙂 This blog is of my Physiology Practical Exam. Blog 7 Pre-proff Exam Edition part1 Today is 23rd Dec 2021, and finally the whole month of ruckus created by Pre-proff exams onto my brain finally ended! *sigh* Literally,In this whole month, I proudly say I have studied the most than in the entire year🤣 From Completing whole book before exams to getting Insults in Viva; From asking my friend "kitna padha? yaar merko to kuch bhi nai aata!" to actually taking up exams with sleep deprived self.This whole month had it all!  Okay, Lemme share my whole experience though You didn't ask for🤣This will be of my written exam experience. My first exam was on 10th of Dec2021 and it was Anatomy paper1 Legit,nailed it😎 Though got one fine scolding from my anatomy tutor because of my bad habit of writing concised points onto question paper because one dreaded FOMO of failing!💀 The exam was pretty easy and I attempted well. How First year really was! Indian MedSchool Story✨

4th Dec2021 The day when, are so called,"Covid-struck/ruined ever-so-fine 2020 Batch with No Freshers and White coat ceremony" finally ended!  Our college started on 2nd Feb2021 and the freshmen year ended today that is 4th Dec2021✨ Though we just went to college for the offline classes for about 5months . The experiences I received are on another level💥.It was indeed a feeling of mixed emotion ,to put forth ,what actually Freshmen year to me was!  Some noteworthy experiences/learnings: 🌟 Getting to see,dissect a real human body! I will never forget my first dissection hall experience to be honest💥 You can check that out on my blog. 🌟 Extracting and performing "bloody practicals" for Physiology ofcourse.
